PDC reinforced mill FSAI
The mill, reinforced with PDC-cutters on the cutting part and carbide composite material on the expanding part, is designed for casing exit operations.
The use of FSAI allows further drilling in the formation after casing milling is carried out without the need for additional POOH/RIH operation to change the BHA. Average rate of penetration is the same as with PDC bits.
Due to this BHA combination, the number of trips during well construction decreases.
